How can i purchase music from you? Please send me an E-Mail. Sofar there is no shopping system on this site. But orders via Mail are easy. Just let me know what item you want to buy, what your shipping adress is - and how you want to pay (Paypal or direct Banktransfer). You will receive further infos about the ordering procedur.
How much Shipping Costs will i have to pay? Shipping costs depends always on the Size and wheight of the package. Thats why there are no fixed costs for any orders. Also it depends on where you are located. After you´ve send over your shipping adress you will receive the total amount of the money that you have to pay including the shipping costs.
Can i buy and download something from you? Buying is possible but no download links will be available. If you want to buy some music digital in form from download files, please visit the shops under the links section.
I have no turntable - how can i get your vinyl series to my ears? Just let me know what vinyl release you are after and i can burn it on a cdr.
Where the hell is something located? Something Records is located in Harz Mountains Germany!
How can i pay? You can pay with Paypal or direct Banktransfer.
When do i have to pay, and when do i get something? All payments have to be done in advance. After the money has received at the account, the order will ship as soon as possible. Paypal payments will get there very fast, while banktransfers will take a few days.
How can i listen to your music at something-records.com? Two ways. Click on the "PLAY::" button located at the right corner at each release. That will open your player and all tracks of that release will play in a list (*.m3u). The other way is to click on each single track of the release. That will play only that single song. Every MP3-Link-function of this website will be highlighted in orange color when you roll over it with your mouse. Click on it and there will be something happening! * If you have a little freetime you can also check the m3u playlists at the bottom of the release pages :)
Is there any additional information available for your releases? Yes, click on the "info >" link, or on the cover pictures for that specific release.
Who runs the label and who are the Artists behind it? Well, sofar that´s all me ( Stephan Laubner :) The STL project is more on the vinyl and beat orientated side, while the Lunatik Sound System is Ambient and experimental listening stuff. Can i send you any Demos? Demos have to be send by post in physical form on cdr or something like that. Please no download links!
What does mp3 at the preview files stands for? Does that mean you only sell mp3s? No! Mp3 is only the preview file format, which can be played on most mediaplayers to get an impression of the music. The final product is always in best quality! Either as normal Audio CDs or as Data Files (wav) on cdr. Or, even better, on vinyl !
I can´t find your CD Series in any Shops. What can I do? The CD Series is not distributed and is only available from Something Records. You can order each CD for 8 euro direct from me, or if you after the digital / non physical version, check the digital stores, like whatpeopleplay.
When will your latest Vinyl releases be available in digital stores around the globe, ready for downloads? Please note that the latest and newest Something Vinyl Series items will never be released the same time when the physical vinyl comes out. That´s because vinyl is more important to me and i will wait a good while before they are up at digital-stores worldwide. If you are like me, please support and buy the vinyl or ask me to burn the music for you on a cdr.
